Viu de Linás is strategically located and a perfect gateway for visiting the most beautiful places of the Aragoneese Pyrenees.
You can find us just 10 km from the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, one of the main protected areas of the Pyrenees. Numerous excursions can be carried out in the vast extension of the Park, where a wonderful landscape and a varied flora and faune are to be admired.
Broto Valley and in general, the whole area of Sobrarbe, offer you picturesque corners such as the villages of Broto, Torla and Aínsa. Here a number of sports and cultural activities can be found. Also, Viu is only one step away from the Tena Valley, another popular and very, visited area of the Pyrenees. Here in winter you can have a wonderful time at the prestigious, downhill ski resorts of Formigal and Panticosa and at the Nordic ski center of La Partacua.
From there you can admire the marvellous
natural scenery of the Telera and Tendeñera hills or the Bubal reservoir
or you can follow an interesting route including different preromanic and
mozarabic churches, through El Serrablo.
The regions surrounding Viu offer the visitor the possibility to take pleasure
in the exuberant nature of the Pyrenees: its flora, faune, landscape or
